Painting has been my passion since the wee age of three or so the family story goes...A tempting array of loosely lidded paint cans left by the housepainter inspired my first mural. Much to the chagrin of the painter returning from his lunch break--I was delighted by my wall art--my first heart's desire.

Creative sparks have fueled several artistic paths and professions--Chef,
Caterer,Cookbook Author, Clothing and Interior Designer. All venues that I continue to explore--skills that greatly contribute to my present day career incarnation....

For the past eighteen years I have lived and worked in Los Angeles in the entertainment industry-- part of a design team that creates the overall visual look of a film, television series or commercial. This rewarding collaboration working closely with awesome talented artists and craftspeople has led to an exciting profession as an Art Director--and more so--treasured friendships to last a lifetime.

Throughout life's twists and turns my number one dream to focus on my fine art skills has taken the back burner. There was never the "right time" -- a safe time to take a break...to risk the already tenuous assets of a freelancer.  It was the bittersweet inspiration of a letter sent by a peer that gave me the courage to take the leap...A note from a devastated husband sharing the last evening of his wife's life as she lay dying of cancer
--her only regret had been "not painting more...". That was it for me--the switch was thrown--the road forked then and there.  It was time...ready or not.

Within weeks I was painting full-time every day in my emptied living room turned studio.  I gave this creative sabbatical a work schedule, a budget and a "tangible" goal--to explore the strength of my painting talent. As the smaller studies and sketches for larger painting ideas began to amass I printed notecards to share with family and friends. Encouraged by requests for prints and originals this website was launched in January 2004...

December, 2005: The growing interest from gallery directors and art collectors has encouraged me to take the next big step--working towards a solo exhibition.
